There were no knobs on the radio when I was given it, but with a little modification I was able to fit two conventional ones which enabled me to discover that it worked perfectly.
This car radio is a 12volt negative earth 7 transistor set. The germanium complementary output power transistors, AD162 and AD161 are mounted on the rear of the chassis. The Mullard data sheets indicate that such an arrangement should provide 8 watts output. Made in 1970?
