Sinclair 'Cambridge' Programmable Electronic calculator uses 9 Volt PP3 battery or mains adapter. working made in England 1975. It is surprisingly small 50 mm x 111 mm x 28 mm and unlike the Japanese calculators emerging at this time has a red LED display rather than the the newer LCD type. It was kindly given to me by David Mingay who did not have the series of double sided cards covering scientific and engineering problems or the Programmable Operating Instructions which were provided with the calculator but they can be downloaded by clicking HERE
The rear of the case has a bulge to
accommodate the 9Volt battery. On the right is the handy slip on
black leatherette case.
What is it worth?
At auction in 2014 these have sold for
between 15 and 50 depending upon condition and inclusion of
instruction booklets etc
